Telehealth available 1/1/16 with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

As of January 1, 2016, all of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts fully insured health plans will include Telehealth, defined as a real-time video visit with a physician or therapist using a smart phone, tablet or computer. There is no additional cost to employers for this benefit, and covered employees and dependents will pay the same cost share as they do for an office visit.
Mailings to employers will be sent out beginning 11/30/15, and mailings to employees will be sent out beginning 12/7/15.
