Posted 03.23.16

St. Joseph is joining Harvard Pilgrim’s Elevate Health network and Benevera, a population health care company aimed at improving the quality and cost of health care in New Hampshire.

Elevate Health is a non-profit, defined-network product that offers health coverage with access to 17 additional hospitals in NH and VT. Those insured under Elevate Health will now be able to receive care both at St. Joseph Hospital as well as with First Choice PHO physicians effective April 1, 2016.

Benevera is a population health care company aimed at improving the quality and cost of health care in New Hampshire. St. Joseph joins Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Elliot Health System and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in the joint venture that was announced last fall.

“Our goal in joining Benevera is to offer our patients the most coordinated, high quality health care possible through a combination of new technology and locally-based health care advocates,” said Richard Boehler, MD, President and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital. “ Benevera Health will help physicians raise the standard of care, leading to a better patient experience and better health outcomes.”

“We welcome St. Joseph Hospital to the Benevera family,” said Corbin Petro, Benevera’s President and CEO. “Together we will improve the health of New Hampshire residents by better aligning health care delivery with best practice analytics and proactive patient intervention.”
