Medicaid Rolls Increase Since ACA Launch

Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that nearly three million people have been enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program since the launch of the Affordable Care Act. Total Medicaid enrollment figures released by HHS is about 19 percent of the population, or about 61 million people as of the end of February.
