Could translate to inadequate care
Similar to HMO’s, Limited Network Plans will play a major role in the exchanges created as a result of the Affordable Care Act. In an attempt to contain costs, limited networks could translate into inadequate care for its enrollees. Another area of concern by consumer advocate groups is the potential for high bills for individuals who have complicated medical problems.
