Anthem announced effective January 1, 2016 the addition of four hospitals in Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont to their Pathway Network of providers currently serving individual market customers who purchase ACA-qualified plans.

The four hospitals are:

• York Hospital – Maine
• Holy Family Hospital – Massachusetts
• Anna Jaques Hospital – Massachusetts
• Springfield Hospital – Vermont

“Having these four key hospitals join our Pathway Network helps to strengthen what is already a comprehensive hospital and physician network. We’re very pleased to be able to work with these providers and increase access to quality care outside of New Hampshire’s border to meet the needs of our members,” said Lisa M. Guertin, President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New Hampshire.

The Pathway Network includes 21 of 26 New Hampshire hospitals and eight hospitals in Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont.
