Refuses to delay individual mandate
Despite the botched rollout of the marketplace website, www.healthcare.gov, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius continues to defend the White House and the ACA. Records are now being released that gave forewarning that the site could not handle more than 1,100 simultaneous users. In addition to the system shortfalls, millions of individual health policyholders were receiving cancellation notices of their current health plans because they were not compliant with the ACA mandates.
