Five Carriers Submit Plans to NH Insurance Department

NH Marketplace will experience increased competition during 2015
In a Public Information Session recently hosted by the New Hampshire Insurance Department, it was announced that five carriers have submitted plans to participate in the NH Marketplace for plan year 2015. All of New Hampshire’s hospitals appear in at least 3 issuer networks, with several plans offering coverage at each facility. Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield was the only carrier that stepped up to offer plans during the 2014 plan year. In addition to Anthem, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Minuteman, Assurant Health, and Maine Community Health Options have submitted plans for the 2015 season.
