Eleven States Offshore Some Medicaid Processing

Not illegal according to Office of Inspector General

The Washington Times released a front page story regarding Medicaid processing. The analysis of the Health and Human Services Offices of Inspector General found that eleven states send some administrative tasks overseas. There is nothing in the law to prevent private health information or administrative processing from being sent offshore.

Also available in the April 15, 2014 NAHU Newswire is an article that the Congressional Budget Office now claims that the cost of the Affordable Care Act will decrease over $100 billion dollar the next ten years.
