Decision could come down today
In the lawsuit, Halbig v. Burwell, it is asserted that the federally run exchanges in 36 states cannot distribute premium subsidies to individuals that obtain coverage through them. Few believe it will be successful, but the potential is there for a serious loss to the Obama administration.
The Journal of the American Heart Association suggests home blood pressure monitoring is cost effective and that blood pressure devices should be reimbursed by carriers. The savings over a decade netted between $415 to $1,364.
