Therese Gesel-Towne, MHA, SPHR is the principal of Aegis Consulting and Solutions Group, LLC and brings over 25 years of experience in multiple management roles and human resources. Ms. Gesel-Towne is well known in New England for her expertise with both public and private-sector employers and is an active leader in several human resources professional organizations. Ms. Gesel-Towne will provide an overview of several human resources topics including:

• Common human resources errors
• Human resource compliance concerns and “red-flags”
• Record keeping, documentation and personnel file maintenance

Kevin W. Stuart, Esq. is a partner at Bernard & Merrill, PLLC and represents and advises both employers and insurance carriers on worker’s compensation matters. Mr. Stuart has served as a lecturer on workers’ compensation matters before numerous companies and organizations, including the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Adjusters Association. Mr. Stuart will provide an overview of New Hampshire workers’ compensation law to include:

• Steps to avoid worker’s compensation audits and how to challenge them
• Proactive management of worker’s compensation claims
• New Hampshire DOL form review
