Harvard Pilgrim Introduces EatRight Rewards Wellness Program
Posted 02.26.15
Harvard Pilgrim members in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Connecticut can participate in the new EatRight Rewards wellness program, promoting healthy food purchases at participating grocery stores.
Members create an account through the EatRight Rewards Web page, register a unique ID, then receive nutritional value scores when making their grocery purchases. Members can create shopping lists, access nutrition panels and activate savings offers on healthy products through the free mobile app.
While members can take advantage of the EatRight Rewards base program, Harvard recommends employers add incentives to assist in motivating employees to be mindful of their food shopping habits. As featured in The Boston Globe, Harvard Pilgrim offered a cash incentive for participation and minimum nutritional value scores when they introduced the program to their own employees.
