Tufts Health Plan / Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Combination

Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care have been working on plans to integrate the two organizations since the announcement of their intent to combine last year.
Beth Roberts, current senior vice president of Harvard Pilgrim’s Commercial business, will be appointed the head of the new entity’s Commercial business. Beth will report to Michael Carson, who will serve as president of the combined organization, overseeing all its lines of business, subsidiaries and strategic development.
