Well Sense or New Hampshire Healthy Families will oversee individuals’ health plans
Scheduled to begin January 1st is the “Step 2” of the Medicaid Care Management program. The intent is to better coordinate treatment for Medicaid recipients. Opponents of the program are concerned the care management companies could deny treatment options to patients.
Walmart is looking to pilot a broad network of primary-care clinics that could also manage chronic diseases. Much efficiency can be brought to the market because they are a big company.
