Affordable Care Act to blame

Report findings in a study conducted by Duke University, indicates forty-four percent of CFO’s surveyed are considering cutting back on benefits due to the cost increases related to the Affordable Care Act.

Also reported in the February 7, 2014 NAHU Newswire lead article, the Obama Administration is considering a three year Policy Cancellation extension for individual insurance policies even if the plans are not ACA compliant. The reason being cited is to ensure the individual market has stability. No final decision has been made.

Lastly, a brief article suggests that the IRS is still trying to decide if or how they will sue individuals for not complying with the individual mandate.
