Online Exchanges Challenged First Day of Operation

Administration refers to system issues as “glitches”
On the first day of the new Exchange/Marketplace operation, many potential enrollees found themselves waiting for extended periods of time to access the site or not even being able to access the site. The Obama administration has referred to the problems as glitches and is pleased with the amount of traffic to the site. Meanwhile, enrollment data for the 36 states that are run by the federal exchange has not been released.

The commission studying the expansion of Medicaid eligibility is looking at a plan that would add approximately 49,000 people.
