Marketplace Notice Deadline Approaching

Employers must provide notice to employees by October 1st

The Affordable Care Act requires employers to provide notice to employees of the Marketplace, including, what it does and how to contact it.

Employees, both full-time and part-time must be notified even if they already have health insurance.

Current employees must be given the notice by Oct. 1 at the latest. New employees hired after Oct. 1 must be given the notice within two weeks of their date of hire.
